ARRMA 1/5 KRATON 4X4 8S Monster Truck Overview

The KRATON® 1/5 8S Speed Monster Truck RTR features ARRMA® heavy-hitting performance at its biggest and best—and in this new, ready-to-run version, it’s better than ever. Equipped with EXtreme Bash parts for enhanced durability, plus a powerful 8S LiPo-capable Spektrum™ system, the KRATON® 1/5 8S EXB Speed Monster Truck RTR is the ultimate Speed Monster Truck experience for the full-scale hit-and-run enthusiast.

The new Spektrum™ 8S brushless system is more powerful than ever. It features a 5687 FIRMA™ 1100Kv brushless motor, with a massive 56mm diameter and 10% more torque than the previous KRATON® 8S RTR motor. The new motor is paired with a Spektrum™ S6510 steel gear servo that delivers 820 lb-ft of torque at 8.4V – nearly 50% more torque than its predecessor. The new RTR package also includes a Spektrum™ FIRMA™ 160A V2 Smart ESC and a Spektrum™ DX3 3-channel 2.4GHz DSMR radio system with built-in Spektrum™ AVC® technology to keep the massive power under control.

A host of EXB-enhanced parts and options give the ARRMA ® KRATON ® 1/5 8S EXtreme Bash Speed Monster Truck a nearly unstoppable powerhouse right out of the box. They include a 5mm thick EXB 7075 T6 CNC laser-etched aluminum body panel; an EXB CNC red anodized aluminum front strut mount; and an EXB front bumper with a shock-absorbing design. The monster truck body is finished off with an aggressive new EXB color scheme for a look unlike any other vehicle. No “Candy Crush” styling here – the KRATON ® 1/5 8S EXtreme Bash Speed Monster Truck is designed to be as purposeful as it looks!

Adjustable, oil-filled 20mm shock absorbers with 6mm thick shock shafts and extra thick composite towers absorb impact. The Monster Truck RTR EXtreme Bash Speed 1/5 8S KRATON ® races on dirt, asphalt, grass - all terrains and all conditions. Large dBoots ® COPPERHEAD™ 2 tires on multi-spoke wheels with heavy-duty hubs add traction on all terrains. Everything in the rugged design contributes to confident handling and quick handling at high speeds.

The central body brace, aluminum center supports, and composite body sides add strength. All-metal outboard motors and internal gearbox components, plus durable steel driveshafts, provide a reliable, heavy-duty drivetrain that can withstand extreme high-speed impacts.
